External opinions, separate sources
Tool details pages can link to Trustpilot, G2, and Capterra. Where authorized, we show a source’s score, scale, and review count as a dated snapshot. Each provider stays separate: we do not calculate a combined score or assign our own editorial stars. A source link without a score is still useful; it does not mean the tool has no reviews.
Know what was reviewed
Each entry names the product or company covered by the linked profile. Company reviews can include billing, support, and other products. Neither a company score nor a product’s historical score is a test of its latest version.
Reviews may span older versions. A major release does not reset an external score. Check recent reviews and release information at the source before deciding whether an older complaint still applies.
Dates and missing information
“Last checked” is when an operator checked the linked listing and, if supplied, its score and count. It is not a product evaluation date or a live synchronization guarantee. Sources can change after that date; follow the link for current information.
We show only sources that have been added. Missing sources or scores do not mean a zero rating, a bad tool, or an endorsement. We do not invent review counts or copy individual reviews into the directory.
Discover by suitability
Directory cards focus on capabilities, use cases, and pricing. External scores appear on tool details pages, not as card ratings or a directory-wide ranking. Use comparison to assess capabilities and limitations, then visit a tool’s profile for external review context.
Same rules for sponsors
Sponsored placement buys visibility, not a better score. We apply the same source, scope, and display rules to sponsored and regular listings. Scores are not selectively removed because an advertiser dislikes them. Vendors can request corrections to a mismatched source or factual error; a new version alone does not erase historical reviews.
How entries are maintained
The directory operator checks that a source profile matches the named product or company and records its check date. Numerical snapshots are published only when the directory has the required display rights. Source links remain available when scores are not reproduced. We do not scrape review sites or claim that linking to them implies a partnership or endorsement.
